We are looking forward to bringing the best of the Glam Rock era to a venue near you soon.  The band can be guaranteed put on a show to remember and play an exciting selection of the very best music of the 70's whilst precariously balanced on the most unikely platform boots and dressed to the nines in outlandish stage costumes.  Shrinking violets Sweet FA are not.

Now celebrating their 12th year and with a huge number of successful appearances behind them, Sweet FA are one of THE glam rock bands to see in 2009.  Formed in 1997, Sweet FA is arguably the strongest 70's band on the circuit today.

Their uncompromising style ensures that the great songs of the day from bands such as The Sweet, T-Rex, Bowie, Alice Cooper and Slade, to name but a few, have every ounce of energy and style that made them the classics we remember today.  It would be foolish to write off the glam era as a victory of packaging over content - these are truly great songs as can be demonstrated by the audiences, regardless of age, being able to sing along to every number.  In 25 years time who will be able to say that about today's pop hits? 

Glam is still as popular as ever - 70's events are consistently sold out, and Sweet FA fill almost every venue they play.  And because the band believe in giving their fans a varied set they will also play classics from the biggest rock and punk bands of the era - from Thin Lizzy to the Buzzcocks.
